I Support Family Farms

Delicious, locally grown carrots from Radical Root Organic Farm in Libertyville, IL. This family farm launched in 2013 as an incubator at the Farm Business Development Center in Grayslake, IL.

Thanks to the Lake County Farm Bureau for interviewing me Tuesday.  As your county board member, I would work steadfastly to preserve and protect family farms.

Family farms are not only an important part of Lake County’s past, but an essential part of its future. We need a sustained commitment at the county, state and national levels to strengthening and developing the next generation of family farmers. I look forward to advancing this conversation.

How Your College Student Can Vote In This Election

Most college students want to vote but wait until the last minute. Then, daunted by the process, they don’t.

If you are a student who wants to vote, or someone who wants to make sure their student’s voice is heard this November, then the links below will make that happen.

This is a two step process:

1. Register to Vote online (already registered, jump to item 2).  Online registration HERE.

2. Request a ballot by mail (via the temporarily absent student enrollment form).

Print and mail your temporarily absent student enrollment form HERE.

For more general information on voting, check out our Voter-FAQ page HERE.

Email this page to students by copying and pasting this link VOTE FROM COLLEGE

Don’t live in Lake County, check out Campus Vote Smart HERE.

The future is yours, vote on it.
